Lumenest started in Mumbai with a simple irritation: the things we use every evening — a candle, a lamp, a phone we cannot put down — are either beautiful or functional, rarely both. We build the both.

What we do differently

Most of what sells in this category in India is the same imported object under twelve different names, on the same white background, carrying the same five-star reviews nobody wrote.

We pick a small number of objects, say plainly what they do, and never invent a customer.

Why I am the one doing this

I have spent the last few years running a business where the entire product is how something looks and feels when it is handed back to the customer. That is the standard I am bringing here, and it is why I still answer the phone.
