Lumenest started in Mumbai with a simple irritation: the things we use every evening — a candle, a lamp, a phone we cannot put down — are either beautiful or functional, rarely both.

We build the both. Every Lumenest object has to pass one test: would you keep it on the shelf even if it stopped working? If yes, we make it work brilliantly too.

What we do differently.

Most of what sells in this category in India is the same imported object under twelve different names, on the same white background, carrying the same five-star reviews nobody wrote.

We pick a small number of objects. We say plainly what they do and what they do not. We do not invent customers, and where we have not shot our own photographs yet, we say so on the FAQ page rather than pretend otherwise.

Why I am the one doing this.

I have spent the last few years running a business where the entire product is how something looks and feels when it is handed back to the customer. Premium is not a price tag there. It is whether the finish survives a second look.

That is the standard I am bringing to objects you live with every day, and it is why I still answer the phone myself.
